Leave Redruth on the Lanner road.
Go through Lanner and out the other side.
Go up the hill and near Barncoose Nurseries you will see a left hand turn marked Gwennap Pit, but don’t turn here.
Ignore that turning and take the next turning on the left, in the direction of PULLA CROSS and FROGPOOL.
Go all the way through FROGPOOL and just outside the village you will find yourself on a right hand bend where the road has several forks . DON’T go all the way round the corner into PERRANWELL STATION but fork off LEFT towards COLDWIND CROSS.
(You will pass various houses, including The BEECHES on your LEFT HAND SIDE … continue along until you come to the CROSSROADS at Coldwind Cross.).
This time GO STRAIGHT ON into GRENNA LANE .... and follow your nose for about 600-
You will pass BERRYNARBOUR on your LEFT (big millstone) and keep going down the hill until you find the FIRST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. That’s us!
Sign on gate reads "THE BARN" -
Steep turn up into the driveway, watch the big pieces of Cornish Granite.
